Hello Readers!

Endomondo supported platforms

I just want to share a awesome sports-tracker with you!

The sports-tracker is called Endomondo, and it is supported by the most platforms with GPS.

Works with: Nokia, HTC, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG, HP, Eten, Palm, as well as Garmin devices

A sports-tracker is a little application you installing on your smartphone, then you startup the application everytime, you are going for a workout.
You choose your sport (over 20 to choose from), press Start and you are ready to do your exercise.

All the time under doing the exercise, you can see how long you went, how fast your (running, cycling etc.), as well as watching your road on a map in real-time!

Your friends can also watch your exercise on a map LIVE on the web.
They can see where you are, how long you went, how fast you are and so on, all in real-time!

Another nice feature is the Peptalk, this is a little message your friends sending you from the web, and your phone is speaking the message in your headphones!

Endomondo – Home

All the time under your exercise, you have a coach in your headphones, saying how long you went, your tempo, how long you are from your goal (if you have set one) and some other things.
This can of course, be turned off.

If you are listning to some music under your exercise, this will also be tagged to your workout, and you can see it on the road and map, when you turning up the web.

When you are finish with the workout, you press Stop and max two seconds later, your workout is fully automatically uploaded to your account/profile on Endomondo.com.

Then all your friends can watch, your workout on the web.

It’s like a social network for “motionists”.
Some people call it the Facebook for “motionists”.

On the website you have your own profile, where you can upload a little picture of yourself, and some information about yourself.

Example your hight and weight will automatically be taken into account, in how many calories you lost under your workout.

Endomondo – Workouts

Another feature on the website is the Teams and Challenges, you can join others or create one by yourself, and invite your friends to join you in the Team or Challenge.

Example with a Challenge, you can see who went the most kilometres in a certain period, or who is the first to move a distance on 1000 km etc., or who lost the most calories in a certain period, or most active minutes, or the fastest X km, or the most exercises in a certain period.

Then you can follow the standings in real-time, and in the end see who won the challenge.

I’m running Endomondo on a HTC Desire with Android 2.1 operating system installed, and it works very well!

I’ve tried many other sports-trackers, and Endomondo is actually the best on the market, and it’s 100% free!

I will suggest you to try it on your phone or Garmin device, I think you will like it!
